Beyond this place, here be dragons.

When the old mapmakers would reach the end of the world, they used to write the words: “Beyond this place, here be dragons.” I can’t help but think those words must have been a siren call to early explorers. - - “Unexplored? Uncharted? We must go discover, uncover, learn and challenge what is possible.” - - I’ve noticed recently that we have lost our sense of curiosity about the world—that innate sense we were all born with. Where did it go? Why did it disappear? Is it because we exchanged it for certainty? Is certainty really worth it? Is it even real?
